Aslay Isihaka Nassoro, born on May 6, 1995, is a celebrated vocalist from Tanzania

Known by names like Aslay, Dogo Aslay, and Dingi Mtoto, he began his music career in 2011 with his debut song ‘Naenda kusema.’ This track quickly gained fame across East Africa and was launched by the renowned music label, ‘Mkubwa na wanae.’

In 2013, Aslay teamed up with fellow vocalists Mbosso, Beka Flavour, and Enock Bella. Under the same management, they formed a band called Yamoto Band. The band attracted a large following and enjoyed five years of success, producing hit songs during their time together.
In 2017, they decided to go their separate ways and focus on their own careers.

After Yamoto Band broke up that year, Aslay launched his solo music career. This decision led him to greater achievements in Tanzania’s music scene and even beyond the country’s borders.

Today, Aslay continues to create music. He is a key figure in Tanzania’s music industry, entertaining fans and playing an important role in shaping the direction of Tanzanian music.
