Artist: Otile Brown

Kenyan musician Otile Brown is known for his unique and catchy music. He combines different styles like modern R&B, Bongo Flava, reggae, and Afropop, creating a sound that listeners love. Otile released his first song collection, “Best of Otile Brown,” in 2017, which set the stage for his first full album, “Just in Love,” in 2020.
Born as Jacob Otieno Obunga in Kisumu, Kenya, the artist is widely known by his stage name, Otile. He spent most of his childhood in Mikindani. Otile started writing songs as a teenager. Under the name Otile Brown, he made his first big impact on the radio in 2016 with the hit “Imaginary Love,” featuring the popular rapper Khaligraph Jones that became a standout track on his 2017 debut collection, “Best of Otile Brown,” released under the Dreamland Music label.
Later, Otile went his own way, leaving Dreamland, and released several hits independently, such as “Baby Love” and “Chaguo la Moyo” in 2018. The track “Chaguo la Moyo” featured Sanaipei Tande. His growing success led to the release of his album “Just in Love” in 2020. This album included collaborations with well-known East African artists like Mejja and Juma Jux, further cementing his place in the music scene.
