Abdul Juma Idd, popularly known as Lava Lava, is a Tanzanian musician born on March 27, 1993.

He is currently signed under Diamond Platnumz’s renowned record label, WCB Wasafi. Lava Lava’s journey into the music industry began after he navigated a highly competitive audition process at Tanzania House of Talents (THT).

He successfully stood out among over a thousand aspiring young artists, securing a spot in the top 50. Driven by his passion for singing, he made the decision to leave his studies to fully immerse himself in the THT program.

For five years, Lava Lava underwent comprehensive music training, culminating in the award of an official certificate. This certification marked his readiness to venture into the music scene and seek professional management to propel his career forward. Since his emergence, Lava Lava has captured significant attention with his hit songs, most notably “Tuachane.”

His musical prowess has earned him spots on various music charts within Tanzania, with tracks like “Go Gaga” and “Niuwe” also gaining considerable popularity.

Notably, his song “Wanga” achieved international recognition when American singer Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys shared a video of themselves dancing to it, eventually leading to a remix of the track.
