Nandy, a prominent Tanzanian bongo flava artist who rose to prominence in the early 2010s, blends dancehall, hip-hop, reggae, R&B, and Afrobeat influences in her music. Her 2017 hit “Nagusa Gusa” catapulted her to stardom, earning her the All Africa Music Award for Best Female Artist in East Africa that year.

Born Faustina Charles Mfinaga, Nandy honed her vocal skills in church and school before launching her music career.
